Peter Kund Larson III, 27, of Decatur City, was charged on a Union County warrant for probation violation 1:30 p.m. Friday at 119 N. Elm St.
Larsen was being held on $1,000 bond.

Austin Allan Jones, 24, 903 N. Spruce St., was charged on a Union County warrant for second-degree theft 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Law Enforcement Center.
According to a Creston Police report, Jones went to the bulk fuel site west of Afton on several occasions between Aug. 27 and Oct. 3 and took fuel totalling 472 gallons without permission.
Jones was released on a $5,000 bond.

Jonathan Mandel, 46, of Springfield, Illinois, was charged with possession of a controlled substance 7:54 p.m. Friday at 804 W. Taylor St.
Mandel was released on $1,000 bond.

Nicole Lynn Bendt, 19, 804 W. Summit, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia 12:53 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of South Sumner Avenue and West Fremont Street.
According to a Creston Police report, Bendt was stopped for not having license plates and during the traffic stop a strong smell of marijuana was detected. A glass pipe and two roaches were found in Bendt’s possession.
Bendt was released on $300 bond.

Richard Beam, 53, of Ottumwa, was charged on a Union County warrant for probation violation 6 p.m. Sunday at the Law Enforcement Center.
Beam was being held awaiting bond hearing.

Alberto Aquirre, 603 N. Elm St, reported 11:12 a.m. Sunday that sometime between Friday and Sunday someone entered a rental property he owns at 211 N. Pine St. and caused damage to walls, doors and miscellaneous items in the residence.
Estimated damages were $300.
