I am happy to announce the results of the Union County Honor Flight Fundraiser. As a community, we were able to raise a record amount for this amazing program. In total, we raised $11,936.60 which will pay for almost 16 veterans to go on the spring 2019 flight.
We appreciate Creston/O-M football letting us work with them, the partnership with Creston CAST and the help provided by CCHS Student Government. We also owe so much to the generous businesses and community members and students who are so willing to donate to this cause through sponsorships, by buying shirts, coin wars, etc. This is a great community!
In terms of the Coin Wars, the following classrooms are the winners of parties:
• ECC: first place – Mrs. Chesnut, second – Mrs. Weese, third – Mrs. Sherrod
• CCES: first place – Mrs. Tanner, second – Mrs. Thomson, third – Mrs. Barnett
• CCMS: first place – Mr. Mike McCabe, second – Mrs. Hartsock, third – Mrs. Luther
• CCHS: first place – Mr. Morrison, second – Mr. Siglin, third – Ms. Halsten
• Parochial: first place – Mr. Kissell, second – Ms. Surma, third – Mrs. Sickels and Mr. Walker
