Patrick Lowenberg

Patrick Lowenberg, 42, of Creston died Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, at Greater Regional Hospice Home – HCI in Creston.

Celebration of life memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25, in Creston. Burial will be held privately at a later date. Open visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family will be collecting items for the local food pantry during the visitation and service. Online condolences may be left at www.powersfh.com.

Patrick Danial Lowenberg, son of Dale Robert Lowenberg and Sharman Leigh (Wyatt) Lowenberg, was born July 28, 1976, in Iowa City. He was educated in East Union Schools with the class of 1995.

Patrick operated Lowenberg Lawn Care, his lawn mowing business, and worked as a handyman. He also helped tend to Frank Gale’s show rabbits.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Dale and Sharman Lowenberg of Afton; sisters, Shannon (Matt) Harper of Afton and their children, Emma and Abby, and Tammy (Jade) Stuart of Creston and their children, Tyson and Will; best friend and cousin Jesse (Carla) Lowenberg; extended family including sisters, Robin (Dave) Robins and daughter Jessica of Patterson, Shannon Jo (Phillip) Hart and daughter Katherine of Omaha, Nebraska, and Bambi (Doug) Proffitt and children, Troy, Alyssa, Jena, Dalhton and Charlie of Murray; brother John Proffitt and children, Samantha and Wyatt of Creston; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Patrick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clora and Olin Wyatt and Vincent and Louese Lowenberg.
