McDonald birthday celebration, card shower planned

The family of Barbara Weaver McDonald is hosting a celebration and card shower in honor of her 80th birthday.

The birthday party will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 20 at Chicken Inn, 1329 Highway 34, west of Creston. Her birthday is Nov. 24, but the celebration is early to avoid bad weather, plus her brother will be in town.
