Delores Harms Dumont

Delores Ann Harms, daughter of William Heuer and Ida Dralle Heuer, was born May 14, 1938, in Butler County, and passed from this life Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at Dumont Wellness Center in Dumont at 80 years of age.

Delores graduated from Allison High School in Butler County.

She was united in marriage to Roger Verlin Harms on Oct. 19, 1956, at Vilmer, and three daughters blessed this union. Delores was a loving mother and homemaker. Roger and Delores moved to southern Iowa in 1979. She worked several years at Siemens when they lived in Osceola. In recent years, Delores moved to Dumont.

Delores was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger Verlin Harms.

Delores leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Rita (Steve Shaw) Eckhardt of Osceola, Lori (Tom) VanDyke of Dumont and Jan Graham of West Des Moines; five grandsons, Dillon Eckhardt, Trevor VanDyke, Logan (Traci) VanDyke, Aaron Graham and Jordan Graham; and two great-granddaughters, Janie Eckhardt and Jesse Eckhardt.
