GREENFIELD – Adair County Health System (ACHS) has announced Susan Herr, PA-C, is joining the medical staff at ACHS. Herr will be covering urgent care at Adair County Medical Clinic – Greenfield, the emergency room at Adair County Memorial Hospital and, at times, will cover in the family practice clinic.
Herr, daughter of Paul and Gini Herr of Fontanelle, graduated from Nodaway Valley High School. She attended Iowa State University receiving a Bachelor of Science in biology. Herr’s Masters in Physician Assistant Studies was earned at Des Moines University.
When asked why she chose to practice in Adair County, Herr said, “I wanted to work in a small, close-knit community with great staff to meet the surrounding communities acute care needs.”
ACHS is proud to have a local provider join the medical staff of Tim Piearson, DO, Jessica Kennedy, DO, Nathan Tiwari, MD, David Black, PA-C, and Jenna Evans, PA-C, all family practice, and Mikal Rasmussen, ARNP, and and Rebecca McCann, ARNP, both in urgent care.
