South Central Iowa Athlete of the Year fan vote results

East Union's Olivia Eckels and Creston's Mitchel Swank are the 2018 South Central Iowa Athlete of the Year fan vote winners.

Eckels took 28.46 percent of the fan vote.

Swank took 25.40 percent of the vote.

Other finalists by percent were:

Girls: Cayla Maitlen, 23.16 percent; Katie Sobotka, 19.21 percent; Alyssa Johnson, 15.44 percent; Sara Winemiller 13.73 percent.

Boys: Brycen Wallace, 24.05 percent; Carter Boothe, 23.46 percent; Derek Venteicher, 16.62 percent; Brayden Egli, 10.46 percent.
