Sharon Pinske, 82, of Creston died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, at Creston Specialty Care in Creston.
Celebration of life memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25, in Creston. The Rev. Chuck Spindler will officiate the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Creston. Memorials are suggested to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.powersfh.com.
Sharon Leota (Ridnour) Pinske, daughter of Letha M. (Shock) Ridnour and Claude P. Ridnour, was born June 30, 1936, in Creston. She graduated from Creston High School. Sharon worked as beautician for several years in Creston, Lenox and Afton.
On July 5, 1975, Sharon married Edward Pinske. They farmed in Eldora, and later moved to Booneville, North Carolina. Following Edward’s death, Sharon returned to Creston.
Sharon is survived by her brothers, Harold (Barbara) Ridnour of Milan, Illinois, and Robert Ridnour of Creston; and nieces and nephews, Eric Ridnour of Phoenix, Arizona, Lisa Ridnour or Fredrick, Maryland, and Ann Ridnour Manglesdorf, Milan, Illinois.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward and sister Donna Ridnour.
