Creston/O-M will introduce its home football turf for all to see at Friday evening’s scrimmage with visiting Interstate 35.
Attendees are asked to bring towels to donate that players may use in games and practice.
The lower level scrimmage (9th and 10th graders) begins at 5:30 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m.
Players will play at full speed with quick whistles and no tackling.
Varsity squads will then warm up before beginning to scrimmage at 7:30 p.m. This portion will run to 8:15 with two 12-minute quarters. Action will be full speed, but no tackling.
After a short break, squads will break into specific game-simulated sitations from 8:20 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the rest of the scrimmage.
