Maryann Rink, 33, of Creston died Sunday, July 29, 2018, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
Celebration of life memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25, in Creston. The Rev. Mary O’Riley will officiate. Maryann Rink, daughter of Bartholemew Raymond Rink and Vaola Franziska Delores Slade, was born July 30, 1984, in Lamar, Colorado. She was educated in Lamar, Colorado, and graduated from East Union High School in Afton. Maryann joined the U.S. Army after high school, but was called home to assist with her parents due to their medical needs. Maryann worked in maid service at Super 8 Motel and was currently working as an optical technician at Precision Optical.
On Dec. 4, 2002, Maryann and Robbie Michael Quinn began a life together, and have been together since.
Maryann is survived by her life partner Robbie Quinn of Creston; parents, Bart and Vaola Rink of Afton; children, Logan Quinn and Mercedez Quinn; step-daughter Lexie Richie; brothers, Matthew (Jessica) Rink of Ava, Missouri, and Mark (Gloria) Rink of Creston; sisters, JoAnn Collins of Denver, Colorado, Stephanie (partner Steve) Winningham of Pueblo, Colorado, and Stacy Stuber of Springs, Colorado; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Maryann was preceded in death by her nephew Raymond Ashcraft.
