Ricky Fowler “Centerline,” 64, of Creston died Monday, July 16, 2018, at Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston.

Celebration of life services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25, in Creston. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Creston. Open visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 20, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family. Ricky Lee Fowler, son of Melba Marie (Borland) Fowler and Wood E. Fowler, was born Dec. 9, 1953, in Creston. While attending Creston High School, Ricky worked at Little Duffer, and in 1973, he graduated. He later attended Southwestern Community College in the auto mechanic and auto body departments. Following his schooling, Ricky started working for Cornick Chevrolet on Feb. 7, 1976, in the auto body shop, and later as an auto detailer. He continued working there when it changed to Stalker’s, working until March 2013.

On Sept. 24, 1982, Ricky married Rose Mary Faux at the Creston United Methodist Church. They later divorced.

Ricky is survived by his son Raymond Fowler (fiancée Rachelle) of Creston; daughter Renae (Edwin) Fowler-Narvaez of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Zachary Shelley, Zander Shelley, Emarie Narvaez and Violeta Narvaez; nieces, Lacey Fowler and Lyndsey Fowler and nephew Lee Fowler, all of Creston; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents and brother Rocky.
