Curtis Brammer, 59, of Afton, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at his home in rural Afton.

Curtis Allen Brammer was born on July 30, 1958 to Henry Leroy Brammer and Mary Lou Blaine in Corning.
Curtis resided in southern Iowa his entire life. He worked as a farm hand for many years for the Cheers Farms in Afton, helping with their daily operations.
Curt is survived by his children, Calab Brammer (Sara Beam) of Lorimor, Clay Brammer of Creston, Cassie Brammer of Newton and Jessica Mick of Creston; 11 grandchildren and nephew Josh (wife Joni) Brammer of Afton. Curt was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Joe, Becky and Dick Brammer, grandson Calab Brammer, Jr. and nephew Cody Brammer.
