Francisco Javier Bermudez, 29, of Des Moines, was charged on an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance 10:08 p.m. July 2.
Bermudez pleaded guilty, served time and was released.

Michael Anthony Hull, 31, of Winterset, was charged with two counts of third offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia 3:24 a.m. July 3 in Stuart.
According to an Adair County Sheriff report, Adair County dispatch received a call about a man passed out in a vehicle in the Kum & Go parking lot. Upon arrival, a deputy found the vehicle with Hull inside and the driver’s door open, but before the deputy could make contact with Hull, he jumped up and got out of the vehicle. When he got out, the deputy saw a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine on the driver’s seat in plain view, which prompted a further search of the vehicle. During the search, the deputy found a green leafy substance, a white crystalline substance and a loaded syringe and a pipe used to smoke marijuana, a marijuana grinder and a plastic bottle that had been turned into a bong.
Hull was released on 10 percent of a $10,300 bond.

Kimberly Ann McCormick, 46, of Des Moines was charged on an outstanding Polk County warrant for possession of a controlled substance 10:05 p.m. July 3.
McCormick was transferred to Polk County custody.

Joseph Lee Reynolds, 35, of Stuart was charged with driving on a denied or revoked driver’s license 7:22 p.m. Friday in Stuart.
Reynolds was cited and released at the scene.
