Dean Meisenheimer, 60, of Creston died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Greater Regional Hospice Home - HCI in Creston.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at Calvary Cemetery, west of Creston. The Rev. David Kincaide will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be determined at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.powersfh.com.
Dean Allen Meisenheimer, son of Rose Anne (Lee) Meisenheimer and Dean Henry Meisenheimer, was born July 11, 1957, in Greenfield. He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1975. Dean worked for PepsiCola in Greenfield, and then with Schildberg Construction.
On Aug. 5, 1985, Dean married Susan L. Gamertsfelder at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. They lived and worked out of Creston. Dean worked as a steel fabricator for Vanmark in Creston for more than 20 years. He then worked as a molder for Wellman’s for five years. Susan died in 2012.
Dean is survived by his daughter Nyssa Meisenheimer of Creston; son Nevin Meisenheimer of Creston; sisters, Deb Jameson of Fontanelle, Kathy (Bruce) Hagen of Columbia Falls, Montana, Julie (Bob) Pernu of Polk City and Lori (Scott) Armstrong of Greenfield; and brother Daryl (Jenny) Meisenheimer of Houston, Texas.
Dean was preceded in death by his father Dean Meisenheimer; wife Susan; brothers-in-law, Nick Gamertsfelder and Dale Jameson and niece Danielle Cherry.
