The Union County Ministerial Alliance has organized a road trip Sunday, Aug. 5, to see the Iowa Cubs play the Las Vegas 51s. The first pitch is at 1:08 p.m.
Tickets will be $7 apiece and can be paid for on the day of the game. There will be some giveaways, and the seats are somewhat shaded. Reserve the tickets at any local church or by calling First Christian Church at 641-782-5511 by Thursday, July 26. Also, when you reserve tickets, let the church know if you would like a ride to the game or if you can take any passengers. Tickets will be available by Sunday, July 29.
There will be a caravan leaving at 11 a.m. from First Christian Church, 301 E. Townline Road, in Creston. Join your friends and neighbors for a fun road trip.
