Gregory Spencer

Gregory Mark Spencer, 69, of Sarasota, Florida, died Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Tampa General Hospital.

Gregory was born Oct. 2, 1948, in Washington, D.C. Greg graduated from East Union High School in Afton in 1966. He went on to earn his B.A. from Grinnell College in Grinnell in 1970.

Gregory is survived by his children, Collin Ricklefs of Houston, Texas, Ian Spencer of Sarasota, Florida, and Tali Spencer of Sarasota, Florida; and siblings, Gary Spencer, Carol Spencer and Dane Spencer, all of Sarasota, Florida.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Mark Spencer and Lonabelle Kaplan Spencer.
