Iowa Department of Inspections and appeals: Homestead of Creston receives perfect survey

Homestead of Creston Retirement and Assisted Living is proud to announce it has received a deficiency-free survey from the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals (D.I.A.) for the second time in a row.

The D.I.A. conducts these biannual inspections on all senior living establishments to determine if the environment is fit for care. Surveyors examine factors such as compliance to regulations on care, confidentiality, cleanliness, resident rights and quality of services. This high achievement is only awarded to a handful of facilities.

Homestead of Creston cares for those who can no longer live alone, but do not require 24-hour assistance. They offer many services and amenities such as medication management, home-cooked meals and licensed health care services to help residents live a life of independence. Certified staff provide the best care possible. All care plans are evaluated annually to ensure the appropriate services are being presented.

Homestead of Creston will strive to continue providing exemplary care, clean environments and compassion to all present and future residents.
