Pizza Ranch has been selected as the No. 1 pizza choice according to a survey released last month.
According to Market Force, after surveying approximately 11,500 people, Pizza Ranch won the hearts of pizza lovers over other competitors like Domino’s, Papa John’s, and Papa Murphy’s.
The survey consisted of eight categories of value, food quality, service speed, staff friendliness, cleanliness, atmosphere, healthy options and curb appeal.
“I think it’s great,” said Jason Thomas, Creston Pizza Ranch manager. “Corporate has spent a lot of time changing how we make our pizza and just focusing on standardizing things.”
Pizza Ranch is based in Hull and has locations all across the Midwest. The pizza franchise was established in 1981 and has had the mission to “give every guest a legendary experience.” As of February 2017, Pizza Ranch had 200 locations in 13 states across the Midwest.
“It’s more than just a script,” said Thomas. “We’re set apart from other places because of our customer prioritization. The Creston branch worked toward the mission statement by going great lengths to deliver a good service to their customers.
“A huge thing from our corporate is service from the heart,” said Thomas.”The vision of pizza ranch is to make people feel comfortable, and to let them know that they’re that important.”
Recently this month, a local Pizza Ranch employee was recognized for her story of impact by the Pizza Ranch Corporate office.
Mackenzie Percell was recognized for searching extensively for a customer’s missing Invisalign retainer.
“She took it upon herself to dumpster dive,” said Thomas.
