2018 Paint Creston program

The Image Enhancement Committee of the Creston Chamber of Commerce is pleased to again offer the Paint Creston program to a minimum of five Creston owner-occupied homes in 2018. This is an opportunity to possibly receive free paint to paint the outside of your home. Applications for the program are available at the Chamber Office, 208 W. Taylor St./Hwy 34 West or online at www.crestoniowachamber.com now through May 4. Forty-one homes have been painted in the eight years the program has been in place. Paint can make a difference.

Legislative Coffee

The last Legislative Coffee of this session will be held Saturday, April 7. The coffee provides you with an excellent opportunity to ask your Legislators questions you may have, or just listen to what your elected officials have to say. They begin at 8 a.m. in the mealsite at the restored Creston Depot in uptown Creston, and last for an hour. The coffees are free and the public is invited to attend. Both Rep. Tom Moore and Sen. Tom Shipley plan on attending.
