According to a Creston Police Department press release, the bodies of Kevin Wayne Sharp, 41; Amy Marie Sharp, 38; Sterling Wayne Sharp, 12; and Adrianna Marie Sharp, 7, all of Creston, were found following a welfare check conducted at the condominium where the family was believed to be staying in Tulum, Mexico.
Autopsies are being performed in Mexico and results are pending.
The Sharp family was reported missing by family members at 12:02 a.m. Missing person reports were entered into the nationwide database and officers were able to make rapid contact with the U.S. State Department.
