Mary Lou Warrior, 85, of Fontanelle died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at Good Samaritan Society in Fontanelle.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Fontanelle United Methodist Church with burial in Sunnyhill Cemetery in Adair. The Rev. Cathy Nutting will officiate the service. A luncheon will be held at the church immediately following the services prior to burial. Visitation with family present will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, one hour prior to services at the church. Mary Lou Warrior, daughter of Fred and Eleeta (Morse) Lovell, was born Aug. 30, 1932, in Adair. Mary Lou was raised in Adair and graduated from Adair High School in 1950.

On Sept. 24, 1950, she married Eugene Smith in Adair. Mary Lou lived most of her life in Adair County.

In 2004, she married Robert Warrior.

Mary Lou is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Warrior of Fontanelle; daughter Chris (Ron) Reed of Fontanelle; granddaughters, Misty (TJ) Carlson and Kimberly (Bryan) Howes; great-grandchildren, Hanna and Abby Carlson and Bryanna Howes; sisters, Patty Weston of Dearborn, Michigan, and Dorothy Prior of Destin, Florida; other relatives and friends.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gene in 1992; sisters, Jean Toney, Nancy Lovell and Joan Phillips; brothers, Bob and Jack Lovell and three infant siblings.
