Jim Gaffigan and Old Dominion announced for Iowa State Fair Grandstand

DES MOINES – Funny man, Jim Gaffigan is bringing his show to the Iowa State Fair on Tuesday, Aug.14. Gaffigan is a Grammy nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, top touring performer and multi-platinum-selling father of five. He is known around the world for his unique brand of humor largely revolving around his fatherhood adventures and his observations on life. Tickets will cost $32, $37 and $45.

Old Dominion blends of old-fashioned country charm, lyrical wit, rock n’ roll grit with radio-friendly, hook-heavy pop nuggets. In a short time, Old Dominion has emerged as one of the hottest breaking bands in country music and is no stranger to the Iowa State Fair, joining the ranks of rising performers who have moved from performing on the Susan Knapp Amphitheater to the Iowa State Fair Grandstand. You can catch Old Dominion with special guest, High Valley on Sunday, Aug. 12. Tickets will cost $21, $31 and $51.
