No citations were issued after an accident 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Townline Road and North Walnut Street.
According to a Creston Police report, Cindi Marie Cregeen, 60, of Creston, driving a 1998 Chevrolet, was stopped at the stop sign on North Walnut Street and turned west onto East Townline Road without yielding for a 2015 Chrysler being driven east on East Townline Road by David Lee Tackett, 64, of Creston, resulting in a collision in the intersection. Cregeen was reported by the investigating officer as at fault for the accident, and was given a verbal warning.
Damage estimates were $1,000 to Cregeen’s vehicle and $2,000 to Tackett’s vehicle.
