DES MOINES – Country music duo, Sugarland announced a national tour reboot for 2018 and will be performing Friday, Aug. 17, at the Iowa State Fair. Sugarland joins previously announced Reba with special guest Chase Bryant and Christian band Casting Crowns with special guest Matthew West. All three concert tickets will be on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at www.etix.com or 800-514-3849.
The Iowa State Fair Grandstand is undergoing renovations for 2018, although the historic grandstand structure will remain intact. Thanks to a generous $1 million donation from Kyle and Sharon Krause and Kum & Go, the Blue Ribbon Foundation is able to improve the grandstand stage. Fair fans will enjoy renovations this year including 4,000 more seats, new restrooms and the newly named Kum & Go stage.
Sugarland ‘Still the Same Tour’ with special guests Frankie Ballard and Lindsay Ell will perform 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, with tickets costing $52, $57 or $67.
Reba with special guest Chase Bryant will be 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, with tickets costing $50, $55 or $65.
Casting Crowns with special guest Matthew West will be 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, with tickets costing $30, $35 or $45.
