Freshman Colby Burg sunk a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, capping a 53-52 win for the Creston freshman team Tuesday at Harlan.
According to head coach Drew Dornack, Burg banked in the winning 3-pointer after receiving the inbounds pass.
“Burg who got it and took it down the floor and pulled up and banked in a 3-point shot from five feet behind the arc,” said Dornack. “Great effort from everyone all game. We were down the whole game and made a nice push towards the end of the game.”
Cole Strider had 13 points in the winning effort while Evan Bruce contributed another 10 points for the Panthers.
