Dear Creston Community,
Creston/O-M wrestling and Creston FBLA will again be teaming up to raise money for Union County veterans to go on the Honor Flights this May. There are still many veterans in our community that would like the chance to go to Washington, D.C. We will be selling T-shirts for the Jan. 18 wrestling meet with Denison and Shenandoah. Order forms were sent to the ECC, CES, CHS, Mayflower and St. Malachy schools last week and have order form drop off boxes in their offices. The order forms and money are due back by Dec. 18 and the T-shirts should be delivered the week before the meet.
We are very excited about this opportunity to help local veterans and want to be able to send even more than last year. The week of Jan. 22-26 following the meet, we will be doing a coin war competition in seminars. I will send a reminder after break to see which seminars want to participate. Thank you so much for your support last year and we hope to have another great fundraiser for veterans.
