Library news for adults

Adult programming at Gibson Memorial Library for November is a drawing program from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, with the continuing beginning drawing class with instructor Theresa Arts. This class is open to high school students and adults. The program is free – just bring drawing supplies.

The drawing program will meet twice in December from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 and Dec. 23, at the library.

Coloring for adults returns from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at the library. There will also be an ugly holiday shirt contest. Wear your ugly or favorite holiday shirt, join the fun and possibly when a prize. Special coloring pages will be available, so bring your coloring supplies, and bring your mug and enjoy some hot cocoa.

The adult winter reading program, “Snowflakes and Reading Breaks,” begins Jan. 5. Registration, book logs and instructions will be made available at 10 a.m. that day.

The annual used magazine sale will begin in January, but the date has not been announced. All magazine bundles will sell for 50 cents each.
