Meggen Anne Richards, 26, of Des Moines was charged on a Polk County warrant for violation of parole 12:38 p.m. Thursday at 603 N. Pine St.

Richards was being held without bond in Ringgold County Jail awaiting transport to Polk County.

Diane Marie Worthington, 65, of North Dakota was charged with operating while intoxicated 11:45 a.m. Friday at 601 S. Sumner Ave.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were called to Stalker Chevrolet in Creston for a possible OWI. Upon arrival, officers spoke to Worthington who was found in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle. Worthington made admissions to consuming alcohol and driving to the car lot. While speaking with Worthington, officers observed bloodshot, watery eyes, slow and slurred speech and an odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. Worthington refused a sobriety test and was transported to the Law Enforcement Center for further testing, where she was charged.

Worthington was released on $1,000 bond.

A United Farmers Co-op employee reported a building was broken into and some medicated feed was taken between 7 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

Estimated damage was $1,000 and estimated loss was $30.

Ryan Bell, 201 N. Division St., reported an iPod, iPod charger, iPod adapter and sunglasses were taken from his car after it was broken into while parked in the parking lot of his residence between 8 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

Estimated loss was $115.

Gabrielle Brown of Des Moines reported the driver’s-side tire of her vehicle was slashed between 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday while it was parked at 411 S. Birch St.

Estimated damage was $150.
