Consider library capital campaign gift on Giving Tuesday

From Peg Anderson

Giving Tuesday is a global holiday that celebrates generosity and kindness by giving to nonprofit organizations all around the world. In the same way that Black Friday and Cyber Monday kick off the holiday buying season, Giving Tuesday kicks off the giving season, highlighting the true meaning of what this time of year is all about.

Giving Tuesday falls on the Tuesday following the American Thanksgiving each year. This year, it will be celebrated on Nov. 28.

The Gibson Memorial Library has taken on an ambitious capital campaign to renovate and expand the current library building. When the project is completed, there will be more space for additional programming, private meetings, organization and business meetings, family gatherings, space to enjoy culture activities, books and other resources.

On Giving Tuesday, please consider giving a tax-deductible gift to the Gibson Memorial Library for its capital campaign. Contact Library Director David Hargrove or any member of the Capital Campaign Committee listed below for more information.

Gibson Memorial Library Capital Campaign Committee members are Library Director David Hargrove, Peg Anderson, Aric Bishop, Ann Coulter, Tessa Hull, Jean Ide, Connie Maxson, Kay Raymond, Jeremy Weese and Susan Weight.
