Varsity football start times moved up

Published: Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 10:53 a.m. CDT

The kickoff times for three area football games tonight have been moved up because of the threat of inclement weather.

Creston/O-M’s home football game against Class 3A 10th-ranked Glenwood has been moved up to a 6 p.m. start time.

In addition, Creston Community High School Activities Director Jeff Bevins announced the band/practice soccer field will be closed off to parking tonight. Fans are asked to park in the old bus barn lot instead.

The booster club’s recognition of volunteer and fan of the year, scheduled for tonight’s football game, has been postponed until wrestling season, while the gold and diamond member recognition, also scheduled for tonight, is postponed until a later date.

East Union’s home football game against Bedford has also been moved up to a 6 p.m. start time.

Lenox’s home football game against Stanton has been changed to a 6:15 p.m. start time.
