Presentation to be presented by Abortion Dialogue Academy

From Retta Ripperger

Creston

This summer, several local women and I attended the Catholic Daughters of the Americas state convention at Ames. One of the workshops was the Abortion Dialogue Academy group, and we were astounded by the way they could convince people to be pro-life who were either totally opposed or had no opinion. We asked them to come to do a presentation for our local Catholic Daughters of the Americas meeting and it has snowballed into an event.

The presentation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 17 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Hall at 107 W. Howard St., in Creston.

The ABC Dialogue Method is derived from the three essential skills taught by Justice for All which are asking questions, listening and finding common ground. These three things are an excerpt of the “10 Characteristics of a Good Ambassador” originally taught by Stand to Reason.

It would be fabulous if we had a standing-room only crowd. I look forward to seeing many of you at this presentation. If you have any questions, I would try to answer them. You may also find information at www.AbortionDialogueAcademy.org. Please RSVP to Virginia at 641-340-2745.

Yours in Christ,

Retta Ripperger
