Six Hawkeye 10 Conference teams are in the latest state rankings of Iowa high school volleyball teams released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
Carroll Kuemper Catholic (23-0) remains atop the Class 3A rankings, which also includes Red Oak (7-5) at No. 9. Shenandoah (15-3) has broken into the list this week at No. 15.
Lewis Central (14-3), which hosts Creston and Atlantic on Tuesday, is ranked No. 6 in Class 4A.
The Class 2A list includes Council Bluffs St. Albert (15-2) at No. 4 and Clarinda (12-6) at 13. Also ranked from southwest Iowa in 2A are No. 5 Sidney (15-3), No. 8 Treynor (17-3) and No. 12 Tri-Center (14-2).
East Union fell out of the Class 1A rankings this week.
Besides Kuemper in 3A, the leaders in the other classes are Janesville (12-4) in 1A, Dike-New Hartford (23-2) in 2A, Cedar Rapids Xavier (17-3) in 4A and Cedar Falls (18-2) in 5A.
