Panther freshmen beat Monarchs

Cole Strider threw three touchdown passes and Cael Kralik ran for 115 yards and a touchdown as the Creston/O-M freshmen defeated Denison-Schleswig 28-14 Friday night.

Besides rushing for more than 100 yards, Kralik also caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Strider. Brance Baker had TD catches of 11 and 35 yards.

Baker and Jackson Kinsella each had five tackles for the defense. Strider and Britain Miller each intercepted a Denison-Schleswig pass.

"It was a good game for our freshman team," said Creston/O-M co-coach Kevin Cooper. "We got an early lead and kept the pressure on Denison all night long. we rushed the ball for 175 yards and that is a good indicator that our offensive line is playing well."

Rushing — Cael Kralik 14-115, 1 TD; Kadon Bolton 4-41; Cole Strider 2-19.

Passing — Strider 6-16 for 92 yards, 3 TDs.

Receiving — Brance Baker 2-46, 2 TDs; Kralik 2-28, 1 TD; Bolton 1-21; Brodie Wallace 1-3.
