Adair County Sheriff

Donald Glenwood Imhoff of Adair was charged with driving while barred 7:41 p.m. Aug. 13 in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, officers were on patrol when they stopped at an intersection in Adair. Officers witnessed Imhoff driving a black Chevrolet. Officers knew Imhoff had a barred driving status. Imhoff pulled into a driveway and turned around and proceeded north. Officers performed a traffic stop on Imhoff. Officers verified Imhoff’s driving status was indeed barred and then he was charged.

Imhoff was released on $2,000 bond.

Fernando Ramon Vargas of Omaha, Nebraska, was charged on a Pottawattamie County warrant for violation of probation 9:18 p.m. Aug. 14 in Adair County.

Vargas was released on $5,000 bond.

Joseph Dean White of Exira was charged with violation of probation 9:30 p.m. Aug. 14 in Adair County.

White was released on $1,000 bond.

Austin Kyler Albert Van Aernam of Atlantic was charged with interference of official acts 1:35 a.m. Aug. 15 in Adair County.

According to Adair County Sheriff report, officers observed three crotch rocket-style motorcycles traveling eastbound of their location. Officers’ radar indicated a speed of 108 miles per hour. Officers initiated a traffic stop at the 76 mile marker eastbound on ramp. Officers knew the driver to be Van Aernam. Officers told Van Aernam to stay where he was and that they would be right back. Van Aernam did not stay where he was supposed to and took off. Van Aernam was located a short time later on Highway 25 in Greenfield. Van Aernam was placed under arrest after he knowingly resisted a lawful order from a law enforcement officer.

Van Aernam was released on $300 bond.

Kaitlin Sue Findley of St. Charles was charged with violation of a temporary restraining order 4:37 p.m. Aug. 15 in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, Findley was knowingly in direct contact with a party protected by a non-contact order. The protected party and Findley were in the same vehicle together.

Findley was released on $300 bond.

Edward Charles Carl of Greenfield was charged with assault with injury 8:09 p.m. Aug. 15 in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, Carl knowingly assaulted a female victim by shoving her to the ground, causing bodily injury by having a scratch on her right shoulder and some cuts and scrapes on her right ankle.

Carl was released on $1,000 bond.

Marcus Anthony Terrell of Albia was charged with violation of a no-contact order 11:02 p.m. Aug. 16 in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, at approximately 1 a.m. it was brought to officers’ attention that Terrell may be violating a protection order between him and a victim. Officers reviewed numerous phone call recordings from Terrell to a land line in Fontanelle. Terrell called the number in Fontanelle numerous times and speaks with the victim or requested that someone else make third-party contact for him.

Terrell was released on no bond.w

Shane Ashley Wambold of Fontanelle was charged with driving under suspension 7:59 p.m. Aug. 16 in Adair County.

Wambold was released on $300 bond.

Andre Lamont Sewell of Stuart was charged on an Adair County warrant for first-degree harassment 11:49 p.m. Friday in Adair County.

Sewell was charged on $2,000 bond.
