From 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, the trustees of Gibson Memorial Library are hosting a 20th anniversary celebration for the Creston Friends of the Library (FOL).
This is the first general gathering of FOL, and there are fun, interesting and tasty events planned. The event begins around 2 p.m. with a brief history of FOL, recognizing past board members and will wrap up with food and fellowship accompanied by live music.
Admission is free to current friends of the library, and it will be possible to update memberships, if needed, at the door. Children’s activities are planned, so youngsters will be in good care while adults socialize.
