Crestmoor tourneys
Janis Owens led a field of 14 competitors in the 18-hole tournament of the Crestmoor Golf Club's women's club tournament on July 12.
Owens shot 86 for a 12-over par round in edging Suzie Stofferahn by three strokes. Jan Lesan took third in the championship flight with a 91.
The leaders of the first flight were Naomi Sharp 100, Amy Kralik 102 and Hayley Osmun 102. Second flight leaders were Desirae Davis 106, Carol Sharp 106 and Sue Bergstrom 112.
Nine-hole tournament leaders were Joyce Anderson 54, Cari Stalker 55 and Connie Coen 55.
Rick Carter was the men's club champion with a 6-over par round of 78. Chris Franklin and Doug North were a stroke back at 79.
