Be responsible for accident in parking lot

From Cynthia Campbell

Thursday, July 20, my husband and I were at Creston Hy-Vee getting groceries. At approximately 3:15 p.m., I went to my car to leave and found the driver’s side of my car had been damaged. There was white paint on the damages. After my husband and the store manager reviewed the security tapes, they found there was a white crew cab truck parked next to me.

The surveillance tape showed a man wearing a blue and white wide-striped shirt, blue jeans and cap get into the pickup, back up and promptly leave the parking lot. Why are some people so inconsiderate? The man could have tried to find the car owner or at least left a note on the windshield. I must commend the store manager as he was very helpful. I cannot understand the white pickup driver’s lack of responsibility.
