Nicki Renee Jones, 34, 617 N. Birch St., was charged on a Union County warrant for second-degree theft 1 a.m. Saturday at Union County Law Enforcement Center.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, between April 2 and Tuesday, Jones and Timothy Fechter entered Wal-Mart several times and stole merchandise valued at $6,118.85.

Jones was released on $5,000 bond.

Diego Ricardo Manzanarez, 25, of Greenfield was charged with operating while intoxicated 3:12 a.m. Saturday at Union County Law Enforcement Center.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Manzanarez drove his car into the east ditch of US Highway 25 just north of 110th Street. Upon officers’ arrival, Manzanarez was still with his vehicle. Manzanarez was then transported to the law enforcement center for sobriety testing. Manzanarez then failed the sobriety test, and consented to a breath test which yielded the result of .177 blood-alcohol level. Manzanarez also consented to a Datamaster breath test, which resulted in a blood-alcohol level of .162. Manzanarez was then charged.

Manzanarez was released on $1,000 bond.
