Catholic Daughters
Court No. 428 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas met June 13 at the Windrow for “Our Night Out.” The committee for the evening was Chairman Kathy Tapken, Maxine May, Kay Raymond and Suzie McCall. Regent Retta Ripperger led members in saying grace before the meal.
No business meeting was held. McCall made beautifully decorated cupcakes for dessert. Door prizes were won by Marsha Mohr, Pat Pokorny, Mary McElroy, Ripperger, Betty Baker, McCall, Connie Purdum and Sharon Skarda. Members sang “Happy Birthday” to Irene Ripperger, who was celebrating her birthday that day. The membership prayer was recited to end the evening.

Ladies Lakeshore Auxiliary
Ladies Lakeshore Auxiliary met July 5.
Canasta winners were Rose Blakesley, first; Barb Bills, second; and Barb Veitz, third.
Sherry Parrott won the door prize.
Connie Bailey will host cards and chatter Wednesday, July 12.
