Anthony Cruise

Anthony John “Tony” Cruise, 70, of Omaha, Nebraska, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

Visitation with family present will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska, followed by a vigil service at 7 p.m. at the church. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 26, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. Patrick Cemetery in Massena with military honors. Memorials can be given to St. Robert Bellarmine School, The A.R.C.H., Nebraska Humane Society or Josie Harper Hospice House. Arrangements were made by Heafey Hoffmann Dworak Cutler, 12100 W. Tony, son of Dr. John Welsh Cruise and Wilma (Hill) Cruise, was born July 15, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri. Tony was a 1964 graduate of Creston High School. He attended Creston Community College before transferring to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Tony is survived by wife Kathleen “Kay” Cruise; daughter Michelle Lewis (Todd) and sons, John Anthony Rourke, Benjamin Chase and James Patrick; daughter Jean Nesler (Matt) and daughters, Maya Kay and Ciera Jean; sisters, Kate Coen (Mike) and Julee Cruise (Edward Grinnan); aunt Mary Ann Mattas; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
