Don and Joan Gordon announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Dana Gordon, to Spencer Bakerink, son of Tim and Shelley Bakerink, all of Creston.
Gordon is a Creston High School graduate. She studied elementary education at Central College in Pella. Gordon is currently employed as fourth-grade teacher at Creston Community Elementary School.
Bakerink is a Creston High School graduate. He studied psychology and business at Central College. Bakerink is currently employed in the equipment finance department at Wells Fargo.
The couple plan a July 8 wedding.
