Danny Kneedler

Danny Lee Kneedler, 71, of Deer Creek, Minnesota, died May 30, 2017, at his home.

Danny, son of Glenn and Edith (Watt) Kneedler, was born April 17, 1946, in Creston. He graduated from Creston High School in 1964 and then attended Creston Community College for two years before joining the Navy.

After completing four years with the Navy, Danny moved to California and worked for a couple of years, and then moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, and worked as a metal fabricator fixing sheet metal on airplanes. Later he took a job working as a salesman for an Arctic Cat dealer. In 1992, he moved to his farm in Deer Creek, Minnesota. He worked for Home Crest for several years and then decided to get his CDL and drive a truck. He drove for Magnum Trucking and Polman Trucking. The last few years of his life, Danny was retired and lived at home on the farm with his dog, Curly Sue.

Danny is survived by his brothers, Frank (Cindy) Kneedler of Creston, Marion Kneedler of Redwood City, California, Ron Kneedler of Creston, James (Margaret) Kneedler of Creston and Dennis (Candy) Kneedler of Des Moines; sister Karen Ellis of Creston; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Edith; sisters-in-law, Karen (Marion) Kneedler and Sandy (Ron) Kneedler.
