GREENFIELD — Nodaway Valley's Jared Corder received commendation from the Des Moines Register this past weekend when he was named one of 12 players to the Register's Class 1A All-Iowa Boys Track Team.
Corder took a top three finish in the 800 meter run at the Class 1A state meet for the third consecutive year. He finished his Wolverines career running three different races for Nodaway Valley on the blue oval of Drake Stadium.
Nodaway Valley's Shane Breheny was named to the 1A team in the fall for Cross Country. Corder is one of three other Wolverine athletes to earn that distinction over the last two years.
