According to a Creston Fire report, firefighters arrived on scene with nothing showing. Firefighters investigated and found some burnt food on the stove, but no emergency or need to ventilate.

Creston firefighters were dispatched for a smoke detector activation and home filling with smoke 3:42 a.m. Thursday at 1204 Kingfisher Ave.

According to a Creston Fire report, firefighters arrived on scene and found faint smoke in the house. Firefighters investigated and found a burned up fan motor before ventilating the house. No water was needed.

According to a Creston Fire report, firefighters arrived on scene to find a brush pile fire had spread to bagged silage. Firefighters extinguished the silage as the owner moved it with a tractor.

According to a Creston Fire report, firefighters returned to a previous structure fire to extinguish a few smoldering hot spots. Firefighters deployed a wet water canister to extinguish hot spots.
