Spencer Douglas Calkins, 18, of Corning was charged with operating while intoxicated 1:03 p.m. May 1 in Adair County.

Donald James Noggle, 47, of Stuart was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury 11:55 p.m. May 2 in Adair County.

Accroding to an Adair County Sheriff report, Noggle committed domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury by cohabitating with the victim and hitting a fan, which struck the victim in the leg and caused a bump with a skin abrasion.

Noggle was being held on $1,000 bond.

Matthew Ryan Johnson, 27, of Fontanelle was charged on a Adair County warrant for trespassing 4:45 p.m. May 3 in Adair County.

Johnson was released on $300 bond.

James Jeffrey Reese, 62, of Bridgewater was charged on two Adair County warrants for fourth-degree theft and trespassing 4:45 p.m. May 3 and driving while revoked 9:31 a.m. May 4 in Adair County.

Reese was released on $1,300 and a $300 bond.

Daniel Richie Vais, 38, of Casey was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and operating while intoxicated 11:10 p.m. May 4 in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, Vais was operating without a functioning rear license plate lamp. Officers recognized the driver as Vais and were aware Vais did not have a valid driver’s license. Vais exited I-80 eastbound, passed the officer’s location and then got back on the interstate westbound. Officers caught up to Vais at approximately the 82 mile marker westbound and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle Vais was operating due to the non-functioning rear license plate lamp. Officers made contact with Vais and observed numerous signs of drug impairment. Vais was detained due to officers’ belief he was operating under the influence. Additional officers arrived on scene a few minutes after Vais was detained and deployed the K-9. The K-9 indicated on the vehicle and a search was conducted. During the search of the vehicle, numerous hypodermic syringes were located. A couple of syringes appeared to have an unknown substance in them. Vais had numerous injection marks on his forearm from intravenous drug usage.Vais was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Vais was transported to the Adair County Jail. Officers invoked implied consent on Vais and requested a urine sample. Vais consented and was given over an hour and a half to provide a urine specimen and did not. Vais had numerous track marks on his forearm and admitted to using meth as recently as one week prior.

Vais was released on $1,000 bond.

Jason Edward Caldwell, 45, of Stuart was charged with driving while barred 2:36 a.m. Friday in Adair County.

Caldwell was released on a $2,000 bond.

Michael Flynn Huddleson, 37, of Fontanelle was charged with first-degree harassment and trespassing 8:12 p.m. Friday in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, Huddleson went to the victim’s residence and gave her his dog. The victim states that Fontanelle Police Department had advised Huddleson to not be on the victim’s property in the past. Huddleson and the victim were in a relationship around two years ago. Huddleson shouldn’t have believed that he had the right to go onto the victim’s property without her consent. At approximately 6:34 p.m. Huddleson threatened to kill the victim and the victim’s dog to law enforcement if he didn’t get his dog back. Huddleson and the victim were in an altercation briefly before he stated that he was going to kill the victim and the victim’s dog. In the altercation Huddleson had jumped into the box of the victim’s truck while it was moving.

Huddleson was released on $2,000 bond.

Shannon Lea Hogan, 49, of Fontanelle was charged with assault 8:54 p.m. Friday in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, Hogan and the victim were involved in an altercation where the victim had jumped into the bed of Hogan’s vehicle. Once the victim got out of the bed of Hogan’s vehicle, Hogan tried to strike the victim with the vehicle. Hogan crossed a roadway with her vehicle going towards the victim. Hogan got out of her vehicle and tried to pepper spray the victim.

Hogan was released on $2,000 bond.

Kiley Marie Hannan, 36, of Des Moines was charged with driving under suspension 1:46 a.m. Saturday in Adair County.

Dalton James Cormeny, 25, of Fontanelle was charged with first-degree harassment and fifth-degree criminal mischief 2 p.m. Saturday in Adair County.

According to an Adair County Sheriff report, Cormeny became upset with victim. Cormeny stomped on the victim’s coffee table, breaking it in half. Cormeny then stated, while holding a wood saw, that he would kill the victim if the victim were to call police.

Cormeny was being held on $2,000 bond.
