Protect your most precious cargo by attending a free car seat check from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Stalker Chevrolet’s service bay, 601 S. Sumner Ave., in Creston.
Bring your current car seat, the vehicle the car seat goes in and your child. Community Partnerships for Protecting Children will check a family’s car seat and make sure they are properly installed. They will also replace the seat free of charge if the seat is expired or is not the appropriate seat for the child.
The event is open to all families in Adair, Adams, Clarke, Ringgold and Union counties.
