Michael Steven Cox, 23, 516 W. Mills St., was charged on a Union County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon 9 a.m. March 29 at Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Cox was being held on $2,000 bond.

Tyrone Dale Rinner, 18, of Afton was charged on a Polk County warrant for an order revoking pretrial release on original charges of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, bodily injury, and willful injury causing bodily injury 4 p.m. March 30 at Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Rinner was being held at Union County Jail on $100,000 bond and will be transferred to the custody of Polk County Sheriff.

Steven Ryan Patterson Jr., 24, of Hampton was charged on a Union County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, 11 a.m. Friday at Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Patterson was released on time served.

Alex Richard Cunningham, 26, 1024 Crest Drive, was charged with second-offense operating while intoxicated 10:45 p.m. Monday at Union County Law Enforcement Center.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Cunningham was involved in a call involving a motor vehicle in a ditch in the 1800 block of Pole Road. During the investigation, witnesses said Cunningham was the driver. Cunningham also admitted to driving. Cunningham consented to field sobriety testing and showed impairment on the tests. Cunningham consented to a preliminary breath test, which resulted in a test above .08. Cunningham then consented to a DataMaster test, which resulted above .08. Cunningham has a previous operating while intoxicated conviction within the past two years.

Cunningham was being held awaiting appearance before the magistrate.
