Donna Tillman

Donna (Starlin) Tillman, 69, of Creston died Friday, March 17, 2017, at her home in Creston.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 20, at Pearson Family Funeral Service and Cremation Center, 809 W. Montgomery St., in Creston with Linda Johannes as service leader. Private graveside services will be at a later date in Grove Chapel Cemetery near Kent. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in Donna's name, to be determined. Donna Darlene (Starlin) Tillman, daughter of Cyril Donald and Viola Darlene (Dukes) Starlin, was born Oct. 3, 1947, in Creston. She was educated in Creston public schools and graduated with the class of 1965.

Donna married Bill Tillman in Creston and daughters, Gentry and Nikki, were born to this union. They later divorced.

Donna worked on the assembly line at Bunn-O-Matic for 36 years.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Gentry (Mike) Miller of Lenox and Nikki (Chad) Hightshoe of Boone; grandchildren, Taylor Foster and Zoey and Jake Hightshoe; step-grandchildren, Grant, Bailey and Josie Miller; brothers, Don (Lexie) Starlin of Creston, Mont (Dee) Starlin of Diagonal and Harold Starlin of Creston; sisters, Karen (Gary) Zabel of Lenox, Michelle (Greg) Jobe of Ellston, Debbie (Kevin) Creveling of Ellston and Sherri (Jerry) Calvin of Lenox; special friend Linda Johannes of Corning; dog Sass; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Viola Starlin.
