ORIENT – Three Orient-Macksburg FFA members participated at district competition in March. Cody Long received gold in job interview and was an alternative to state, Sammi Long received gold in creed speaking and advanced to state competition and Brooklyn Sammons received silver in ag broadcasting.
The Orient-Macksburg FFA attended the state FFA convention April 10-11 in Ames.
Cody Long received his Iowa farmer degree and Sammi Long competed in the state FFA creed speaking contest and received a bronze award.
Ashlyn Kralik was selected for the state FFA band and Caitlyn Buckman was selected for the state FFA chorus. Treyg Webb and Quincy Davis were selected as chapter delegates. Brooklyn Sammons and Izak Hribal also attended the state convention with the group.
