Corning Opera House presents ‘Scheme of a Driftless Shifter’

CORNING – “Scheme of a Driftless Shifter,” a melodrama directed by Pete Nett, will be presented 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 17-18 at the Corning Opera House Cultural Center in Corning. Tickets for the show are $10 and are available at the State Bank of Brooks, online at www.corningoperahouse.com or may be purchased at the door.

The cast has familiar and new faces and include Andrew Bardole, Marie Walsh Becker, Robert Becker, Kristen Carmichael, Anthony Donahoo, Carol Hardisty, Burton Heaton, De Heaton, Jim Heaton, Joyce Hoerman, Beverly McMahon, Deena Moore, Brent Mullen, Brittany Mullen and Emma Saylor. Audio technician is Andrew Heaton and lighting technician is Brad Heaton.

The hilarious show will start at 7:30 p.m. with seating to the auditorium starting at 7:15 p.m. The show is appropriate for all ages and the building is handicapped accessible. The show’s sponsor is Iowa State Savings Bank.
